An entry for the dolls page.

Pamela

Pamela

Macadamia base from Apitchou

This doll is named after, and dedicated to, my mother Pam.  My mother is a beautiful and intellegent woman who is an inspiration to me on a regular basis. She doesn't really look much like this doll other than the hair and eye colour... and I really doubt I would ever see her in a shimery slinky red dress like this... but it reminds me of her anyway.

Plushie

*cue sad music*
My plushie doll was lost to the great laptop crash of 2007. Unfortunate I was unable to get the file out before it died. Perhaps someday I will redo her.
It amused me greatly to do a plushie. I was visiting my mother when I was making her and Mom saw me working on her, and was very funny. "She doesn't look real", "You're not going to leave her bald are you?" She turned out pretty good I think. She was very low saturation, and that made her a little bland, but looking like a loved plushie.

Dot

Dot

Bubble base from Okashi

Dot was an experiment with tiny dolls.  I still like her a lot.  Her shading is not the best, but the design is very anime.

Arien

Arien

Lilac base from Autumn Pixels

The base in this one was recoloured, and the elf ears were added.  I was very proud of the pink skin at the time, and the ears are not half bad.  The folds in her dress are neat looking, but not really realistic, but I love pattern.  Arien was combo tool and pixel shaded.

Lexie

Lexie

Gidget base from Wayuki's Place

I changed the eye colour of this base to purple.  I really like the eyes -- That was a good colour choice, but otherwise I'm not too impressed with Lexie.  I was experimenting with tool shading, and the fading effect you see in her hair and corset.  Lexie was obviously tool shaded.

Irene

Irene

Dani base from Watermelon Bubblegum

My first doll ever, and I think she looks pretty fantastic for that status.  Thanks of course go out to Watermelon Bubblegum for the wonderful full body tutorial that I loosly followed for this doll.  It made dolling look a lot less scary than I had imagined it would be.  I think she looks great, she's a very clean and a good starting point.  Irene is fully pixel shaded.
